Friday April 28th– The weather has been unpredictable. Monday my iPhone weather app told me it was going to rain for the next eight days, Tuesday there was predicted sunshine for Friday and Sunday but now it looks like we may just have some clouds over our heads.

Salvage has killer fresh and fall off the bone foods. With their wicked friendly staff and a picnic styled table to hold the greatest of families your Friday evening just can’t start off wrong. Friday April 14th-Last week we shared Hot Suppa’s dollar oyster happy hour with you but for this Friday here is a fun fact, from 4-7pm tucked right to the left of Oasis on Wharf street at Bar Of Chocolate better known as “The Chocolate Bar” you can stop in before your Friday night venture for their happy hour where there are $4 cocktails, $7 martinis, and $9 absinthe. If you do find yourself there having one of their sweet chocolate martinis you might as well go all the way and order a dessert because they truly are delicious. Crooners & Cocktails has the kind of razzmatazz that Ol’ Blue Eyes would be proud of. Although Chicago was Sinatra’s kind of town, I like to think he’d appreciate Portland, Maine, and the abundance of Happy Hour deals (especially those featuring his favorite gasoline, Jack Daniels Tennessee Whiskey.)
