Owner and Chef Jordan Rubin of Mr. Tuna (Portland Public Market House and multiple food trucks) and Crispy Gai (Exchange Street) will be opening another restaurant under the name Bar Futo in the Old Port this coming spring.
Bar Futo will be a Japanese-inspired restaurant and is likely to open in 2022. The restaurant will be located at 425 Fore Street, the former home to Five Guys Burgers and Fries. Currently underway and once complete is expected to house a capacity of about 66 people.
Bar Futo will be welcomed alongside the new restaurant Paper Tiger, which is also currently underway next door and expected to open this spring. You can read more about Paper Tiger here.
More details to come.
