We’re pleased to spread the word that our signature Peanut Butter & Jelly Drive is back and kicks off today for the month of September! Why Peanut Butter & Jelly? Peanut butter is a protein-rich food item, often in short supply and high demand at food pantries, backpack programs, and other food insecurity programs. And what’s a more classic pair than peanut butter and jelly?
During this month, customers, clients, local businesses, communities, and employees are invited to join BSB in helping relieve food insecurity by bringing a jar of peanut butter or jelly to any Bangor Savings Bank branch. Donations will be distributed to food insecurity programs in our communities.
For each donation Bangor Savings Bank receives, we will match and donate one additional jar of peanut butter or jelly to local programs.
