Featuring Marie Connor, Lloyd Sharp, Ian MacDonald, Leah Douglass, and Mike Gray.
Marie Connor is a Boston based comedian who provides an unflinching, yet hysterical commentary on what it is to be a millennial, a lesbian and a badass. Her unique perspective as a member of the LGBT community and former Republican gives her targets on both sides of the aisle. In other words, she pisses off all the right people.
Marie has performed at comedy festivals, fundraisers, LGBTQ events, and political events including the Trump Roast in DC with Kathy Griffin.
Outside of Standup, Marie has made several TV appearances and once played a doctor in a corporate video for Ocean Spray (not bad for someone who got a C+ in high school Chemistry class). She has also amassed a dedicated following as the hugely popular @thistallawkgirl on Twitter.
Lloyd Legacy Sharp is both a pillar and cornerstone of the Boston comedy community. Using a combination of finely tuned material and sheer likability, his unique perspective is a hit with audiences from the Cape to Maine and back again. A constant presence at venues everywhere, Lloyd makes every show funner, friendlier, and, most importantly, funnier.
Ian was a contestant in The River Comic’s Maine’s Wicked Funny Laugh Off Contest 2021, finalist in Maine Event Comedy’s Tightest Five Competition, performed at the Bricks & Bridges Comedy Fest 2021, semi-finalist in New England’s Funniest Comedian Competition 2021, and was a regular performer at Empire Comedy Club, including the Make ME Laugh game show. Independently, he produces weekly comedy at Stroudwater Distillery, Thompsons Point, Portland, ME, and a monthly comedy show at Little Dog Coffee Shop in Brunswick, ME. Ian is the newest member of The River Comics, Comedy Productions.
A recent BBC article noted that men are scientifically funnier than women. That is why Leah Douglass is choosing to be linguistically funnier than men. She has been wowing Portland crowds with her wordy wit for 5 years.
Mike Gray is living proof that a horrible childhood can be turned around into an equally horrible adulthood. He is a Portland, ME based comedian who has been performing throughout New England for about 6 years, although he’d rather not count 2020. It has been said that “he has a clear character” and “…a distinct voice for dark humor.” He was a finalist in New England’s Best Bar Comic competition in 2017, performed at Bricks and Bridges Comedy Fest 2019 and 2021, and has competed in Last Comix Standing in 2020 and 2021.
