As an ancient technique rooted in Eastern culture and religion, meditation serves as a powerful tool for restoring balance to the mind, body, and nervous system. Seeding Intention is an integrative, 60-minute guided class that offers relaxation and contemplative practices drawn from both Eastern philosophy and modern evidence-based techniques. This blend allows meditators to explore the specific benefits for the individual mind and body.
Seeding Intention embraces an open, curious, and nuanced “whole-person” approach to health and wellness within a supportive, inclusive community environment. During class, participants can anticipate guidance in aligning and stilling the mind and body individually and collectively through practices including honoring gratitude, attentive body scans, breathwork, and visualization. Individuals are empowered to choose their level of participation and engagement from the personal choice of support and positioning. There will be opportunities for one-on-one inquiry or a follow-up group discussion. We are all beginners and learners. No prior experience in meditation and contemplative practices is necessary to thrive in this class.
