Sip & Paint at Cheese Louise – Join us for a fun night of wine and alternative painting techniques, no painting experience required!
Join us at Cheese Louise with local artist Kait Micks for a lively night of delicious wine and alternative painting techniques. Kait will lead you through a painting of our cheese wheel logo as you enjoy a glass (or two!) of Pinot Grigio, Cabernet Sauvignon or Rosé, compliments of Cheese Louise. No art experience is necessary.
We invite you to go against the grain and learn Kait’s unorthodox painting style while creating something you can be proud of. Kait’s use of textures and colors result in a bright, tactile painting that she insists you touch (after it’s dry, of course). A canvas, paint and brushes will be provided, as well as two glasses of wine and your choice of a discounted sandwich from Cheese Louise.
We suggest you wear clothes you don’t mind getting paint on, and your hair tied up. This process could be messy!
Instruction will begin at 6pm sharp, so we ask you arrive at least 15 minutes before to grab your first glass of wine and pick your preferred seat.
This event is 21+, so please remember to bring your valid ID.
Maine native, and self identified starving artist, Kait Micks has been creating and making art since childhood. Kait’s art can be recognized for its sensory-friendly composition and use of bright colors. Since being diagnosed with autism at age 22, Kait uses art as an outlet to release emotions. She draws inspiration from Andy Warhol, Lisa Frank, and nature. Over the years Kait has come to find that “art is about feeling free”.
