DETAILS: Maine winery, Eighteen-Twenty Wines celebrates the release of their 2022 Fête, Maine Rhubarb Wine, made specifically for Portland Wine Week. Join in on the fun, Saturday, at their Anderson Street Urban Winery to enjoy wine flights, special wine spritzers and cocktails, tasty treats, and extra fun for their summer release celebration.
WINE: 2022 Fête is a light and refreshing wine that was meant to catch even the most skilled wine tasters to have to take a pause and say ‘this is really made with rhubarb?!’ You would never be able to tell, unless we told you. The label has the female captain-ed and made stunning schooner, the Frances, but with the improvement of rhubarb as the sails.

Eighteen Twenty is making sophisticated and delicious wines from Maine-grown rhubarb. They get their rhubarb from local farmers and ferment, bottle, ship and pour it by hand at their location in Portland, Maine. Their wines are often mistaken for a traditional french Rosé, Pinot Grigio, or Sauvignon blanc.
