Public tickets have been released for our “Under the Oaks” Backyard concert in South Portland this Sunday, June 5th! These shows take place in our fan’s backyard and break down the barriers between us and our audience. There will be a meet and greet at 4:30 PM and the show starts at 6:00 PM. There are only about 20 spots left so secure yours while you can!
We invite you to join GoldenOak for a small “backyard” concert, in South Portland, ME
GoldenOak’s music is rooted in the natural landscape. Their songs move like a stream, meandering and weaving in an original yet grounding direction. Fronted by siblings Zak and Lena Kendall, GoldenOak’s music calmly excites its listeners while nestled in rich folk-influenced sibling harmony. The Maine-based band has built a steady and growing fan base with this kind of energetic intimacy, which is perfectly represented in the group’s latest album Room to Grow, a 10-song reflection of the emotional and physical impacts of the climate crisis. The band is rounded out by up-right bassist Mike Knowles and drummer Jackson Cromwell.
Zak, Lena, Mike, and Jackson (GoldenOak) will perform songs from their new album, Room to Grow, as well as songs from previous releases. You will be able to meet the band before and after the show and there will be merch available for purchase.
Please bring your own chair, blankets, etc.

Attendees must be fully vaccinated and boosted against COVID19 to attend. If you are feeling sick please don’t attend the show, refunds can be issued if needed.

Parking in the neighborhood is limited. Carpooling and biking are strongly encouraged! Please check with Julia beforehand about where you should park.
FOOD & DRINKS
Please feel free to bring your own picnic and drinks with you, both alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks are allowed. * No food or drinks will be available for purchase at the show.
