We both enjoyed a late Sunday afternoon meal at this seafood restaurant. Located on Washington Avenue, away from the hectic overcrowded downtown scene, we found this place to be cozy and inviting. Highly recommend the fish 'n chips - so fresh and delicious, AND gluten-free. Our server provided a variety of dipping sauces - all of them a very tasty enhancement along with the traditional tarter sauce and lemon. Our meals were served with chips and slaw We also shared a tasty seaweed salad.Excellent Food. Varied Menu. Friendly Folk.A wonderful alternative to the intown chaos.

This might have been the best fish and chips I’ve ever had! The staff is super nice and friendly, the food is excellent and light, and the restaurant itself is clean and inviting. Come here for happy hour or any hour frankly and you’ll be thankful you did!

Very nice casual place. Fish & chips were great, fresh fish nicely battered and fries very well salted with great sauces. Happy hour oyster deal was great. Oysters were briny and very good, as good as other oyster bars in the area and cheaper (but only one type). Not crowded at all. Deserves more hype!

Oh my!!!The loveliest fish and chips I’ve had in 10 years,- perfectly breaded and fried, excellent hand-cut fries and the tarter sauce was homemade with a hint of fresh dill. The best!I also had the oysters on the half shell and they were really fresh and delicious - they didn’t need any shallot vinegar or sauce, although both sauces I was served were divine.Highly recommend!

We flew in from “the other” Portland almost honestly to go see PDX alum and eat this food. (I swear there were other reasons!)This a gem of a spot that nails every detail. The fries are simply perfect—crispy on the outside, fluffy on the inside, and impossible to stop eating. Don’t skip the sauces; each one adds a unique punch, but the standout is their "nuoc cham," a brilliant substitute for traditional malt vinegar with a Vietnamese twist that elevates every bite. The lobster roll, with butter duh, is pure indulgence, while the hot fish is seasoned to perfection, delivering a burst of flavor with every mouthful. The crudo is fresh and delicate, a must-try for seafood lovers. The space is well-appointed, bright, and immaculately clean, making for an all-around perfect experience. Extra stars for the pickled celery that garnishes the rolls.

Great meal! My photos don’t capture how beautiful the food looked, and it tasted even better. The fish was perfectly cooked, and the chips were delicious, especially with the curry ketchup. The seaweed salad was excellent, serving as a perfect balance to the Hot Fish.

Stumbled upon this place heading to oxbow and glad we tried their food. We had the fish sandwich and hot honey fried chicken sandwich, with fries and sauces. The fish sandwich was AMAZING. The buns delicious! sat outside with our dog. Great new spot!
