Coals Bayside has unexpectedly announced its closure on social media. Originally launched in Portland in 2019, Coals brought its concept from the flagship location in the Bronx, NY. Over the years, Coals expanded with additional locations in Bronxville, NY, Port Chester, NY, and Norwalk, CT. With the Portland location’s closure, it appears the Norwalk restaurant is the only one still in operation.
In their announcement, Coals did not provide a reason for the abrupt closure but mentioned they will remain open during regular hours this weekend or until supplies run out. They also encouraged followers to stay tuned for further updates.
