With the holidays around the corner, Portland is buzzing with festive shows! Maine rap legend Spose kicks off the weekend with his 10th Pdank Christmas celebration at Aura on Saturday, December 14. On Sunday, December 15, One Longfellow Square welcomes Rock My Soul, a South Berwick-based community choir, for an uplifting holiday performance.

Wells native Spose returns for his 10th Pdank Christmas! Spose first made waves in 2007 with his self-released debut album, Preposterously Dank. In early 2010, his breakout single, “I’m Awesome,” gained traction on Maine radio before exploding nationally, leading to a record deal with Universal Republic Records. The track climbed to #37 on the Billboard Hot 100. By late 2010, Spose parted ways with Universal, opting for independence. Since then, he has built a thriving career as an independent artist, releasing numerous albums and singles while touring the country extensively.

Primrose, an emo-adjacent four-piece from Portland, Maine, is making waves once again. Following a social media surge and the success of their debut album, Fallow, the band returns with their highly anticipated sophomore release, Sad in the Northeast.
