Is it St. Patrick’s Day yet?
Celebrate the Irish spirit a bit early this Thursday, March 9th with Celtic rockers Enter The Haggis at the Portland House of Music & Events. The six-piece rock group will be playing two shows, at 7:00PM and 9:30PM, where they’ll touch on hits like “One Last Drink,” “Gasoline,” “Down With The Ship,” and “Lancaster Gate.”

LIVE & LOCAL

Local country music up-and-comers 12/OC are playing at The Porthole this Saturday, March 11th, beginning at 8:00PM.
12/OC is made up of three brothers and a family friend on drums, and they’ve been making waves on the Maine music scene the last couple of years, and this is your chance to catch them free of charge. They’ll be playing a Carnaval Maine After Party show, so make a whole evening out of it!

MID-WEEK MUSIC

Swing your way into Urban Farm Fermentory every other Wednesday for Swingin’ Wednesdays with the Ragtime Destroyers and Portland Swing Project.
This free event is aimed at getting anyone, young or old, up and moving to the sounds of swing, and they will be back at it this Wednesday, beginning at 6:00PM. No formal training is required, just get ready for a good time!

If you’re a fan of authentic hardcore punk, you won’t want to miss TREE at Sun Tiki Studios this Friday, March 10th at 7:00PM.
TREE made a name for themselves leaving their Boston homes in the 90s and touring across the country, and they are back at it in 2023, uniting fans new and old through their heavy riffs and grooving breakdowns. This week, they’re in Portland, playing alongside prog rockers Sunrunner and Portland’s own Exclave.
