Swing and groove to the extraordinary sounds of the Portland Jazz Orchestra!
Led by the talented Dr. Chris Oberholtzer, this 19-piece jazz ensemble has been captivating audiences at One Longfellow Square since 2006. With a repertoire ranging from original compositions to the timeless classics of Duke Ellington, Count Basie, and more, they’re sure to have you tapping your feet and swaying to the rhythm.
This month’s guest band is the Westbrook High School Jazz Ensemble, under the direction of Kyle Smith.
The Portland Jazz Orchestra is playing at Thursday, May 25th at One Longfellow Square.
The talented singer-songwriter Mike Frazier is a lyric-spinning Virginian who blends Americana, folk, and rock ‘n’ roll music to tell tales of life in the Shenandoah Valley of Virginia. He’ll be joined by the incredible Jared Hart from New Jersey, who will be strumming heartfelt country and folk originals that will have you swaying and singing along. No cover charge—just show up, enjoy the tunes, and let the good times roll!

Inn on Peaks presents the incredible Sean Mencher, renowned as the lead guitarist of the Rockabilly trio High Noon! With his signature style blending the influences of Merle Travis, Scotty Moore, and a touch of jazz, Sean has earned a well-deserved reputation in the music scene. His impeccable taste and deep knowledge of Rockabilly and related genres make him a true standout.
