Friday
Head over to LB Kitchen for a three-course wine dinner collaboration with Mangus on Water. Natural wine by Magnus on Water paired with organic and locally sourced food, created by LB Kitchen, as well as cocktails by Brain Catapang. Passed snacks begin at 6pm with dinner seating at 6:30.
Drink beer, eat pizza, and support a local charity! Starting at 11 am, every Allagash beer poured at Flatbread Company will raise $2 for Portland Trails.
Join Citizen Cope for the last week of his Heroin and Helicopters tour at the State Theater. Heroin and Helicopters is his first album in 6 years and is described as personal and poignant. Doors open at 7 pm and the show starts at 8.
The Portland Comedy Co-Op, Public Works Maine, and A&C Grocery are putting on a night of laughter, libations, and Italian sandwiches at the Public Works Maine! The perfect way to end April vacation week.
Saturday
Visit Old Port’s only permitted Medical Marijuana Storefront for their Grand Opening (10 am-8 pm), Fire on Fore Twenty and the highly anticipated 4/20 holiday. The day-long event at 367 Fore Street will feature special in-store discounts, raffles, vendor appearances, and food offerings by Mr. Tuna Mobile Sushi Bar. To close out the night, join Fire on Fore for an after-party at next door neighbor, Bull Feeney’s (be sure to ask about drink tickets!). The store welcomes anyone 21+ and 18+ with a valid medical card.
Rí Rá’s is kicking off patio season with live music, food and drink specials, and new patio tables painted by local artists! Make sure to vote for your favorite table, the winner will walk away with $1,000. The fun begins at 1 pm.
It’s Flannel Day at Hadlock Stadium! Join the Sea Dogs as they take on the Trenton Thunder. Fans wearing flannel will be able to walk a Flannel Fashion show parade around the field, starting at 12:15 pm. There will be prizes including a flannel shirt given away each inning, courtesy of Carhartt.
Start your Earth Day celebrations early at the Thirsty Pig Earth Day Extravaganza. Featuring collaboration beers from the socially conscious folks at Orono and Foundation! “Love your Planet” and “Pale Blue Dot” will be making their debut and Thirsty Pig will be selling a special hot dog with all proceeds benefitting the Maine Brewshed Alliance and giving away seedlings in a plantable pot from Frith Farms in Scarborough. Musical performances at 2 and 7.
Cushnoc is celebrating the release of their first ever triple IPA, Long Time Listener, at one of the first places in Portland to ever pour their beers, Tomaso’s Canteen! You won’t want to miss getting this 10.4% ABV beer. There will can specials and giveaways beginning at 5 pm.
Sunday
Five Fifty-Five is hosting their traditional Easter Brunch from 9:30-2:30 as well as dinner starting at 5 pm. There will be breakfast classics as well as tasting menus and Easter specials.
The Portland Regency Hotel and Spa’s annual Easter Sunday Brunch is hosted in their Atlantic room, with more space available in the restaurant, and even private space for larger parties! The Easter bunny will also be making an appearance to meet children for treats and photos. Reservations required.
Join Boone’s Fish House & Oyster Room for a special brunch event. You can look forward to stations attended by our chefs including omelets made to order and carved ham and turkey as well as displays of fruit, cheese, pastries, smoked salmon, shrimp cocktail, and dessert! Reservations recommended.
