The planets are out of whack and so are we! Get by throughout the rest of this retrograde with a little self-care in the form of relaxing, watching some live music, and enjoying what the Old Port is bringing this weekend.

Friday

Start your weekend with some live music and good food at the Thirsty Pig as the world traveling band Sparks the Rescue takes the stage starting at 7!

The music deck at Portland Lobster Company, that’s the way life should be! Join a Band Beyond Description as they bring the music portion from 7-10 pm.

Oxbow’s Summer Session dance party series continues starting at 9 pm! Enjoy lounge and dance music with a spice of vinyl, enjoy world-renowned beers, and Duckfat’s new nook Frite Shack at no cover charge!

Saturday

Head to the 2nd Annual Stroudwater Regatta on Waldo Street in the Stroudwater Village Association for races, a boat parade, and an ice cream social (all for free)! Bring your friends and family to cheer on the paddlers starting at 11 am!

Treat yourself to a little late lunch and live music on Portland’s largest waterfront deck at the Porthole as Kali Stoddard-Imari brings you his take on folk-pop, rhythm, and rock with a touch of blues, reggae, and soul.

Get your blues and funk fix as 13 Scotland Road plays at Bull Feeney’s from 9:30 pm to 1 am as you enjoy some well-deserved beverages.

Sunday

We can’t be the only ones in need of some rejuvenation and that’s exactly what Be Well is bringing to the Bayside Bowl rooftop at 8:30 am! Join them for pre-flow massages by Health Resonates, a pre-flow braid bar by Akari, a 1 hour all levels power flow class, and some post flow rooftop drinks.

Keep the drinks al fresco going with live music on the Rising Tide Brewing Company patio as Party Time Excellent performs starting at 1 pm!

It’s time for the 3rd Annual Empire Comedy Summer Classic at Empire Live Music & Events! 10 comics remain, only 4 will move on to the finals. Watch, listen, and laugh as the competitors duke it out for a $1000 grand prize, starting at 8!
