The Weekend Guide for June 15th – June 17th

It’s primetime in the Old Port and we’ve got a weekend of beautiful weather and lots to celebrate, so get ready (and don’t forget to invite Dad)!

Guilt free beers? Sign us up! Earn your Friday beverages at WOD for Beers with CrossFit Casco Bay for a 5:30 pm workout before you mosey over to Bunker Brewing Co. with your workout buddies!

The woof… I mean, roof is on fire at Aura tonight at the ARLGP Fur Ball (the party of the year)! Dress to impress for a fun night of food drinks, music, raffles, and a silent and live auction, all to support their life-saving organization and the precious animals they save!

Keep the wine flowing on solid ground at Bistro Night at Cellardoor Winery at The Point for live music by husband and wife duo RAII & Whitney and a Pan Asian inspired feast prepared by Trillium Caterers.

Annual Gay Pride Parade begins @ Noon on Congress Street ending at Deering Oaks Park. Festivities all afternoon until 8:00 pm

Stroudwater’s Belfry Double Barreled Bourbon has been patiently aging in the barrels used for Bissell Brothers Angels with Filthy Souls and starting at 10 am you could get your hands on a bottle at their tasting room! Enjoy a signature Belfry cocktail while you’re at it!

It’s alright, because we’re Saved by the Crawl. Get your flyest 90’s attire ready for this 90’s themed bar crawl, featuring drink specials at Brian Boru, The Pearl, The Drink Exchange, Fore Play, and an after party at Oasis!

You know summer is in full swing when the music scene at Thompson’s Point comes to life! Catch Fitz and the Tantrums & X Ambassadors with special guest Mikky Ekko at 5 pm to delight your senses with great music surrounded by beautiful views.

The music and views continue on a cruise with Casco Bay Lines with the musical stylings of Portland’s true party rock band, The Hurricanes. This cruise sets sail at 8 pm and parties on rain or shine!

Get your Dad in touch with his creative side for Donuts with Dad, a paint event hosted by Color Me Mine starting at 10 am (with free studio fees for all dads)!

Join Portland Flea-For-All in Congress Square Park for Flea Bites, where a new lineup of trucks, cats, and special menus will be complemented by Portland’s favorite vintage, handmade, and antique dealers starting at 11 am!

Don’t miss the Father’s Day Pop-Up with The Highroller Lobster Co. at the Portland Oyster Shop to celebrate with grilled lobster pops, lobster cheese tacos, lobster grilled cheese, along with local oysters, local beer and a heck of a lot of caviar, starting at noon!
