It’s not often that First Friday, Cinco De Mayo, and the Kentucky Derby all falling on the same weekend, so May the 4th (and 5th… and 6th) be with you!


Join eighteen twenty wines for Wine & Whales, where they’re donating 100% of the tips collected and 10% of all sales this evening to the Allied Whale organization, beginning at 4 pm!

It’s the first Friday of May and that means it’s time for the First Friday Art Walk to enrich your night with food,  drinks, arts, and culture starting at 5 pm.

Stop into Otto’s Munjoy Hill location for a night of craft beer, weekend specials, and as always, pizza as Devil’s Purse Brewing Company takes over their taps!

Enjoy some indie covers provided by the guitar and cello stylings of Danny & Jake of the Dapper Gents at Bull Feeney’s beginning at 9:30 pm!


It’s Derby Day! The Little Tap House will be happening all day long starting with a Kentucky Derby Brunch from 11a-3p, and ending with a 144th Kentucky Derby party from 4-7p, complete with mint juleps and fancy hat photoboothing!

Bunker Brewing Company’s Brunch & Bluegrass is transforming for Cinco De Mayo as JERKO DE MAYO! Jerks of Grass will be providing the tunes, Terilingua will provide the jerk chicken, and they’ll be pouring Hacienda, a Mexican-style lager brewed with flaked maiz. The fun start at noon!

The Fourth Annual Derby Party at TIQA commences at 3 pm. Join them in your best race day attire to watch the Kentucky Derby, enjoy light bites and drink specials, raffles, and prizes for best style! All proceeds benefit The Junior League of Portland.

Portland Lobster Company is opening their doors for the summer with a Cinco De Mayo celebration with music provided by The Shakes at 6 pm (with the Scotti River Trio playing earlier in the day at 12:30).

Fiesta with El Rayo for food and drink specials all day long, giveaways, and Gina Alibrio & friends play live from 4-7 pm.


Join Oxbow for an evening of culinary and brewed delights as they’ve teamed up with Chef Rob Evans and his expert team from Duckfat to create a menu featuring the earthy bounty of spring in Maine, complete with craft cocktails, hors d’oeuvres, fire-driven full-course dinner, and dessert with beverage pairings, live music & more!

With Spring officially in full swing, what better way to prepare for summer than with a cold beer and live music on the patio, starting at 1 pm at Rising Tide! Free admission, live music, outdoors, and beer… Not much room for error there!
