It’s Veteran’s Day! To all of the veterans in the Old Port and beyond… Thank you for your service! Now let’s have ourselves a weekend… After all, it is still Portland Beer Week!


If you’re lucky enough to have the day off (or are able to swing by on lunch) The Great Lost Bear is hosting a Sebago Tap Takeover all. day. long. Get yourself down there for some great beer and a chance to win a sweet bonfire pit & Sebago swag!

We know we’ve got the best of the best up here in Maine when it comes to beer, but trying something new never hurts! Join the Honey Paw as they welcome Devil’s Purse Brewing Co. to Maine, complete with menu specials to pair perfectly with their beers, starting at 4:30 pm!

If by chance you did have to work today, it’s never a bad idea to stop by Vena’s Fizz House for a happy hour cocktail or fizz! While you’re at it, you can get some holiday shopping done for the mixologist in your life.

Gather on down to The Thirsty Pig at 5 pm for the largest line up of Bissell Brothers taps EVER. There’ll be a full special menu for this epic event and you don’t want to miss any of it.

Also at 5 pm, EVO Rock + Fitness is hosting Strong Women Summit, a FREE climbing event for women! Enjoy classes, workshops for climbers of all skill levels, free beer & wine, aerial silks, yoga, and t-shirts!


Get after it early when Stroudwater Distillery releases the final 2 barrels of Belfry Double Barreled Bourbon! Starting at 10 am, this highly coveted spirit will start flying off the shelves. PLUS, Urban Sugar Donuts will be there all morning, and Texas Grace Kitchen will be serving up the BBQ all day. Don’t miss your last chance to get your hands on this stuff!

If you’re into the more mystical things in life, head over to Leapin’ Lizards Gift & Holistic Center for a Psychic & Crystal Fair. This event is from 11a-4p and will be a day filled with guidance healing, and fun!

It’s the final day to enjoy Buns n’ Beers at Bao Bao Dumpling House! They’ve got a special brewery inspired steamed bun men and the best brews from 6 great breweries! We know what we’re doing for lunch!

Doors open at 8 pm for Hip Hops 6 at Oxbow Blending & Bottling! A crazy lineup of hip-hop artists will fill your ears with rhymes as you enjoy great beer.


Come bright eyed and bushy tailed for Sunday Runday with the Thick Quad Squad! All are welcome, from marathon runners to those just starting out (and dogs, dogs are welcome too!!!). Meet at Coffee By Design in East Bayside at 8:30 am before the run, and after the run for coffee, treats, and conversation.

Bring the whole family (ages 6 and up) for yoga at Spiral Tree Yoga & Wellness Studio! Explore mindfulness, breathwork, yoga poses with all ages in mind. This event starts at 11 am, pre-register on their site to secure your family’s spot!

Take a minute to enjoy some of the finer things in life, like wine and oysters. Starting at 1 pm at Cellardoor Winery at The Point, BP’s Shuck Shack will be serving oysters and oyster centric foods that pair perfectly with the host’s wines. At $8, this event is seriously a steal.

End your weekend with some belly laughs at Empire Live Music & Events Sunday Night Stand Up! Arty P will be onstage cracking the jokes to lighten the load of the Sunday Scaries on your brain.
