The Weekend Guide for November 9th – 11th

This weekend is all about the beer, the food, and the music, and don’t forget to thank a veteran while you’re at it!

Friday

With Daylight Savings’ ending last week, we’re seeing less and less sunshine. Novare Res is bringing the sunshine back and serving a variety of Lawson’s Finest Liquids beers, including the beloved Sip of Sunshine all night starting at 4 pm!

If you’ve only got One Night in Town, The Thirsty Pig is your one-stop-shop. Sleek Machine Distributors have curated one helluva Bissell Brothers x Friends lineup for this Friday night showcase. Doors and taps open at 6 pm!

Maps is honoring the Brits with British beer for thirst, British cake for hunger, and British music to fill your Northern soul. Grab yourself a proper ale, starting at 6 pm.

Grain Thief is making a stop on their New England Fall tour at Blue starting at 8 pm! Grab yourself a seat and something to sip on while you enjoy their folky bluegrass tunes.

Saturday

Allagash Brewing Company and the Animal Refuge League of Greater Portland, a match made in heaven. Join them for an open Puppy Adoption Day at the brewery, where there will be 5-7 puppies ready to find their forever homes at 10 am. Stick around until 11 for a beer to celebrate your new family member!

Join the Lone Pine staff for karaoke and Oh-J on draft at Howie’s Pub starting at 6 pm! Don’t forget to stop at an ATM first, Howie’s is cash only!

Nothing we love more than live music with a side of craft cocktails. That’s exactly what you’ll get at Maine Craft Distilling starting at 6 pm as Vermont’s Roadhouse String Band, Saints & Liars plays!

Sunday

Gritty’s is showing their appreciation for veterans, active duty, reserves, or guard members by giving them a FREE burger, fries and a beer all day! No need to show ID, just consider it their way of saying “Thank you for your service!”

De’Nada Empanadas will be at Definitive Brewing Company and you don’t want to miss out on some intense games of Mario or Jenga, the sick line up of brews, and noshing on some ‘nadas starting just in time for lunch at 1 pm.

Pop-Up Portland is popping into Rising Tide Brewing Company this month and it will feature the best local musicians, food, and beer, exactly what you need to fight the Sunday scaries, starting at 2 pm!
