It’s just about that time of year that we start working on our winter bodies which means lots of food, drinks, and fun and that’s just what this weekend will be full of. Cheers!

Friday

Drinks from Maine Distiller’s Guild, live music, and excellent food… Harvest on the Harbor presents Maine’s premier happy hour, On the Rocks! Sample artisan made gin, vodka, bourbon, rum, and other Maine made spirits with each pour being paired with foods custom selected to complement the spirits! Starting at 5:30 pm.

Get in the spooky spirit as Portland Ballet presents Jack the Ripper, a full-length ballet choreographed by Nell Shipman, starting at 7:30 pm!

Broadway’s Best Party is turning up the volume to ten. The Rock of Ages Tenth Anniversary Tour is happening this weekend at Merrill Auditorium! Showtime is 8 pm!

What could warm you up better than some good BBQ and good music with Memphis Lightning, happening at Salvage BBQ starting at 8:30!

Saturday

Get your workout done the day with a little side of kombucha at Bootcamp & Booch with Fit Justice at Urban Farm Fermentory! This event starts at 10 am and will feature a basic boot camp class followed by a free flight of kombucha (or jun, or mead, or cider, or beer, no judgment)!

Nothing like the Hair of the Dog on a Sunday Morning! Harvest on the Harbor is giving you just that with an epic Bloody Mary battle and a pig roast by the Pig Kahuna! It starts at the festival tent at 10 am.

If it’s always been a dream of yours to be on TV, here’s your chance! The Travel Channel’s Food Paradise will be filming customer interviews at The Thirsty Pig from 12-3 pm. Enjoy yummy food and see if you’ll make it on TV!

Beers and Bach, what more could you want? Join Rising Tide Brewing Company for an awesome musical afternoon with Portland Bach Experience, not to mention excellent beer.

The Harvest on the Harbor fun continues at Maine Oysterfest, 4 pm at the festival tent with The Maine Oyster Company shucking and serving their oysters paired with whiskeys and craft beers. If you’re an oyster lover, this is your party.

Experience the culinary and shopping adventure that is the 11th annual Market on the Harbor. Come ready to sip, snack, and shop at this casual, day-long event starting at 11 am!
