Friday, July 15– The exciting Caberet Circus will be held both Friday and Saturday. Doors will open at 6:30 and the show will start at 7pm. The circus offers entertainment from both local and international circus acts. There will be beverages by The Bar Association, live music by Hadacol Bouncers, and food provided by the one the only Highroller Lobster Co. There is also another event for young families! Love ice cream on a hot summers days? There is an Ice cream train from 5-8 at Maine Narrow Gauge Railroad Co and Museum. You get to enjoy a beautiful train ride along Casco Bay and you get to enjoy a scoop of Shain’s of Maine ice cream.
Saturday 16– Rain or shine you can’t go wrong with this concert. Bob Dylan and Mavis Staples will be playing at Thompsons Point starting with doors opening at 6pm. General Admission Lawn is $64 advanced and $70 day of show. Reserved seating is $80 ahead and $85 day of show. You can get your tickets at statetheatreportland.com. Another concert to see will be held at Porthole Restaurant & Pub. Portland, ME was once home of the band North of Nashville until they decided to move to Nashville, Tennessee to pursue their music even further. They are quickly growing into a well-known band and in 2014 they were nominated for the New England Music Award as ‘Live Band of the Year’ and Portland Press Herald named them a ‘Band to Watch.’ North of Nashville will be playing from 7-10pm. Sunday 17– The forecast is looking promising for this Sunday funday in beautiful old port. There is only one way to spend it and that is on the water. Casablanca cruises will be hosting a dinner and party boat with special guests North of Nashville. The cruise runs from 2-5 so make sure to take out that sunscreen.
