Jake was out server and he was outstanding. The risotto was delish!! And definitely a double thumbs up on the lobster roll, Brussels sprouts and the mussels!!
Great place to go and drink and enjoy fresh oysters. They are super fresh. Also order the mussels in a hard cider and mustard broth. I actually went back again on a different night for more Oysters.Service team was great. Can't wait to go back.
What a gem! I'm local at this is my first time here. The atmosphere is absolutely "Maine" and well done. The food, we started with the Pork Belly was presented beautifully, and tasted better then it looks. We are here for lunch, the Ceasar Salad and Chicken Sandwich were also great. Will be taking me wife here now for dinner most certainly. Also love its locally owned.
The place is by the water, we had dinner it was cold but the place inside is warm enough. They also have a heater outside for outdoor seating. At this time no one was dining outdoor. The service was timely, food was great. Our server was bubly and attentive. We had muscles, lobster rolls and some cocktail drinks.Cant remember the name.
We were seated right away (planned it right) and had an amazing waiter. We obviously got oysters which were fresh and delicious. The scallops? Honey, you want to talk about lip smacking, I almost licked the plate clean. I would kill for that puree again. We also had some other dishes and drank a lot of alcohol after our meal.Good food, phenomenal service, and I can't wait to try the rest of their menu.
We flew in from Michigan just to eat here! This place is PHENOMENAL! It sits on the water and has the FRESHEST tasting seafood I’ve had since moving from my Maryland hometown! Everything was wonderful! The Clam Chowder tasted like it was just made. The Lobster Roll was $39 and WORTH EVERY PENNY! It had HUGE chunks of lobster on a buttery toasted roll with very light sauce! The Stuffed Lobster was DELICIOUS! We split this between the two of us and was stuffed! The hostess was friendly and the waitress delightful! The entire experience was great! You do have to pay for parking. We paid for two hours and it was $26. We used about 1 1/2 hours to shop, then walked across the street to a souvenir shop to use up the rest of the time. Please if you’re in the area, COME HERE! You will not be disappointed!
Great spot to visit in Portland, Maine. I had the tuna tartar, ceasars salad, and a stuff lobster that was so delicious 😋. Polished it off with a lemon drop and 👍🏾👍🏾 up!
Beautiful little spot (loved the heated outdoor patio)! The lobster roll was simply amazing. The happy hour oysters were good in taste, but I wasn't impressed with the size to price ratio for them. Extra attentive staff made the experience enjoyable. For our first time in Portland, I'd definitely recommend this restaurant and would probably come back. 👍😁
Great place to sit outside. We had the sea food chowder and it was loaded and delicious.
Everything was fantastic, especially the Brussel sprouts (I'm not a huge veggie fan but I ate the whole plate of these!) and the lobster roll. Our server Molly was the best too!
This was my first time dining at this restaurant. The lobster was great! I also had the lobster risotto... it was a little salty but delicious. We were a party of 7 and ran up a 700.00 bill... I think it was worth it but my bank account thinks otherwise. 🤣🤣
Good variety of food options, friendly waiters, and has a view by the waterCan’t go wrong with any dish ordered here! Perfect clam chowder, delicious crispy calamari, fresh lobster, and amazing lobster roll
5 stars for this fine tasty restaurant by the wharf. Delicious Nor' Easter steamed Lobsta Roll with Chips. If I might add, you can combine it with the Down East Hard Cider. Great staff made me feel welcomed the moment I walked through the door. Meghan, my attendant, made the experience so much more enjoyable.
Boone's was amazing! The food was so good. Worth the price. Hannah was our server and she was fantastic! We even got to sit next to a roaring fire!
All around this is a great place to stop and enjoy a meal, Highly recommend!! Dinner was fantastic, compliments to the chef! Starters we had the scallops and calamari which were DELICIOUS!! We had the baked stuffed lobster, lobster risotto, and the clam chowder, all of which was cooked to perfection!!! Nick was outstanding!! He made great recommendations and took great care of our table!! Thank you again from your Colorado and Texas table!!We ate the calamari before taking a photo and got into the scallops before we took the photo, so you only see 1 of the 4 amazing tasting appetizers!
Great ambiance for a nice dinner. Ate here with colleagues, and got the fried calamari, scallops, the lobster ravioli, and the stuffed lobster. All of it was astounding! Our waiter Nick was also very diligent, attentive, and friendly. He even gave us some advice on things we should do, see, and other restaurant option for our stay here!!! Highly recommend.
Absolutely amazing food. Great atmosphere. Don't let the harbor like feel detour you from this place. The food is amazing. Everything I had was great. Great for large groups and you can tell the chef takes pride in his creation. Have the clam chowder it was so good.
It was our first time at this interesting place 2 years ago with friends for my birthday, while we were visiting Maine, Portland. The place was crowded and the atmosphere was chic. The employees were very cheerful and friendly, the menu was not boring, the variety of seafood was wide, well, obviously ? but not only. In general, researches of local places and reviews did not disappoint us and we ended up here. I recommend to everyone who will be in Maine, Portland, check this cool place out! Thank you for the memories.
Great seafood restaurant on the water. Its a 2 story restaurant with an outdoor deck upstairs where you sit directly overlooking the harbor. I had seafood Newburg in a popover. It was delicious! My bride had fried haddock which she said was the freshest she ever tasted. They have a nice selection of draft beer. Great restaurant with a great view.
Recommended by locals for the seafood fare. I went in a bit early to avoid the dinner time crush. Food was quite good as expected and well presented. The restaurant itself was quiet with a softly lit interior dominated by dark wood tones. An active fireplace provided a nice comforting touch. Oddly, the music selection was '80s and '90s pop which was, I think, disjointed given the surroundings but not jarringly so; maybe it's just because I'm a jazz guy. Staff were polite and professional but a bit impersonal. Prices were as expected given the quality of the food and the reputation of the establishment. Definitely worth a visit.
What a great place! Loved the view, the hospitality was top, the food was amazing and the wine list surprised me. We ordered the Gloria Ferrer Sonoma Brut, Oysters, Mussels, Fried Haddock and of course Clam Chowder and we loved everything. The servers were very friendly and accommodating. They accommodated our request in within 20 minutes. Definitely a good traditional spot that never disappoints.
