At Coffee By Design, we travel from Portland, Maine to farms around the world to find the most distinctive beans, then roast every batch with care and precision. CBD’s collection of coffees has something for everyone in the community, including you.
CONGRESS STREET LOCATION: Our inaugural coffeehouse first opened its doors in the summer of 1994, quickly bringing the downtown neighborhood together in the name of great coffee, community, and the arts. Soon the area known as the “porn district” grew into the vibrant Arts District we love today. We recently revitalized the coffeehouse itself with a renovation in the spring of 2016.
