Holly Stone launched her clothing store in Portland, Maine in 2005 to feature unique collections from talented designers not found in everyday stores.
Holly owned and operated Hammersmith Ltd, one of the first home decor shops in the Old Port, through the 80’s and early 90’s. After moving away from Portland and retail for several years, she returned and opened Holly Stone, focusing her keen eye for design to clothing and accessories. Holly saw a distinct need for a shop that offered clothing with great design, materials, and construction that went beyond passing trends, and could be worn by women of any age.
Holly travels extensively to find outstanding collections from Paris, London, San Francisco, Germany, Israel, New York, California, Japan, and Italy.
