The Old Port Sea Grill, opened in the fall of 2002, is located in the heart of Portland’s historic Old Port district. Our modern interior features a custom concrete bar, a large lounge area that seats up to 50 people, a dining room that can accommodate up to 60 guests, and features a 330 gallon salt water fish tank.

The seafood-driven menu focuses on a variety of local and imported fresh fish and shellfish, with an emphasis on east coast cold water oysters and other raw bar offerings. Paired with a food-friendly wine list, local craft-style beers on draft and an extensive cocktail program to make for an exciting dining experience.

Absolute perfection. My boyfriend ordered the Single Lobster plate with the potatoes and green beans and he said it was the best fish he has had in years. I ordered the vegan tacos and they were MAGNIFICENT. Our server, Brendan---dark haired guy with glasses---was kind, helpful, attentive and just lovely. The establishment leaves tons of spaces between tables which helps with privacy. We stayed almost an hour after close eating and no one rushed us or made us feel uncomfortable. Bravo!

Food is great and fresh. However, after exploring other restaurants, the pricing from this restaurant makes it a four star (food quality/price wise).Would still recommend this place because the service and atmosphere was fantastic. The server we had was very knowledgeable about the city, and was keen (and accurate) to providing recommendations in the city.Clam chowder is good (4.5) and not bad for a restaurant that doesn't focus on chowder only (like next doors). We ordered a raw seafood combo platter (picture) + another dozen oysters. Overall, they are fresh. We decided to go about this way because we want to test the oyster types before going full on. However, i found the oysters on the platter to be smaller relative to the 12dozen oysters (of the same oyster types as comparison ofc), and definitely something made me 🤔 (wonder) for the whole night...

Had a nice meal here. I did the lazy lobster dinner and instead of green beans had the Brussels sprouts. Added a glass of the quilt Cabernet too.Everything was cooked perfect except the potatoes. They were a bit raw but not bad and lacked salt. A little seasoning would have gone a long way. The Brussels sprouts were perfect.

We had a wonderful meal here. It was mother's day, and pretty busy, but service was excellent and the atmosphere was upbeat and welcoming. We ordered several dishes to share and everything was delicious. The Love Point oysters, sourced from Harpswell, were exceptional, and the tuna nachos were definitely a standout. Really happy we tried this restaurant and will make it a regular stop from now on.

Josh took care of our table for lunch, and he was great. Lunch was good, too. Had the Maine lazy twin lobster, and it was good, just not hot enough, temperature wise. The husband had the Raw bar and said it was excellent.
