But look around and we’re surrounded by industrialized products and alienated by food chains.
So, we wanted to do our part in making the benefits of fermentation more accessible and approachable. Fueled with fizzy fervor, we opened Onggi as our dream shop in April 2021.
Onggi is a neighborhood spot to explore ferments and foods.
The shop will carry everything you need to start your next ferment, as well as the most delicious small-batch ferments from our favorite (and mostly local) makers. You’ll find cultures, recipes, and stories to inspire the everyday.
