Rocky Bottom Tours is located in Portland, Maine along the working waterfront of Portland Pier, right off the main strip of Commercial Street. A key factor in the livelihood of this pier is Luke’s Lobster Portland Pier where many fishermen sell their product. The restaurant sits beside a fully operational buy station with live lobster, which guests will walk through after the boat tour. After the lobster is weighted and put in crates, they go into an open water system where they live until they are sent to Luke’s Seafood Company to be steamed, picked, and packaged, and to the restaurant at Portland Pier for whole steamed lobster dinners, giving the true meaning of “trap to table.”
