Sisters Ashley and Kelley didn’t start out as an ice cream business. Their original business model came about from the sisters falling in love with sticky rice, a popular Thai dessert, and deciding to create a healthier, and Maine-inspired version they could share with others.

After several months of growth with their specialty food business they decided to experiment with their house-created sauce used as a base to churn ice cream – the next evolution of their business took off! So much so, that within six months they outgrew their counter service in the Public Market, and burgeoning wholesale business, and had to look for a new home.

With a little help from friends and family they renovated a space on the corner of Cumberland and Cleeve. You can pick up their rotating selection of vegan scoops on a gluten-free, house-made cone, in a compostable cup or as a pint at their take-out window.
