CONFIRMED: Miley Cyrus is NOT coming to Portland, Maine.
The Hill Arts, a preforming arts center in Portland is said to be welcoming this this A-List celebrity as she hosts an amateur sketch comedy show with tickets for just $10.
While this event is on the official Hill Arts website, however it is not promoted on their social media, or Miley’s. Many people are questioning the factual possibility of this Disney Channel star visiting Maine to host a comedy show.
Here are some clues that questions its credibility…
1. The Event Description Uses Sarcastic Language.
For example, they say,
“She’s thrilled to be coming 2,700 miles out of her way to preform.
“To save money, Miley will be flying commercial on a connecting flight through Philly and will be sleeping on someone’s couch. So generous from a superstar!”
as well as other questionable phrases.
2. The Image Title Gives a Possible Hint
When you download the image from the website, the title of the file is, “DONT+BE+A+FOOL”. Leading us to question the sincerity of this show.
3. There are no other mentions of the show from Miley or The Hill Arts
Miley Cyrus or The Hill Arts haven’t promoted this show on their social media. Additionally, there seems to be no benefit for her to fly to Maine for this small show.
