After 47 years of dishing out beloved slices, Pizza Joint is closing its doors, marking the end of an era for its loyal patrons.
This establishment wasn’t just a pizzeria; it was a community hub where memories were made over the simple pleasure of pizza. With its final day slated for Sunday, April 14th, the closure is a poignant moment for both of its locations. Pizza Joint’s legacy spans nearly half a century, serving as a testament to the joy and unity food can bring.
It’s a place where countless individuals, including local restaurant owner Joshua Miranda, found comfort and camaraderie. He shares, “This is a sad one. I grew up on The Pizza Joint. I literally lived next door to it for 20 years and sometimes would go there daily. I’ve had their phone number memorized since they were next door to Cumberland Farms. It was my goto comfort food forever. What an incredible run!!” Miranda’s words resonate with many who have found solace and satisfaction within the walls of Pizza Joint. As we say goodbye to Pizza Joint, we honor the indelible mark it leaves on the community.
For 47 years, it provided more than just meals—it offered a space where friendships flourished and families came together. Thank you, Pizza Joint, for the countless slices and the memories that will linger long after its doors close.
