Such a great spot! The vibe and atmosphere is unique, you truly feel like you've stepped into an entirely different country. It was incredible! It drinks are out of this world! Food was incredible, flavors and presentation. Service wad phenomenal. Lyanna (probably spelled it wrong) was so sweet and helpful and accommodated us from the bar to a table. Definitely will be back!

Ive never been to such an authentic Hispanic bar before. From the drink / food selection options to the clever naming of the drinks - I really enjoyed myself. Great service and even better tasting drinks and music selection. Id recommend getting a seat in the corner so you can people watch from all angles.

We've gone now on two occasions and each time the experience has been remarkable. Chef Ron's food is a gift. He has the right touch to elevate comfort food to an art. Everything coming out of the kitchen is ambrosial. The cocktails are simply magical. LyAnna's creations tickle your soul. The combination is truly remarkable There is a deep well of talent in the restaurant that will leave you fully satisfied. It is restaurant that satisfies the eyes, mind, and the belly. Each night our servers greeted us a with an air of joy that says they are happy to work there. Papi is the place to be in Portland and we look forward to many happy returns.

On a quick weekend away in Portland we walked into Papi with no expectations, just looking for a drink and appetizer before our dinner reservation elsewhere. We had the pleasure of sitting at the bar amongst a busy crowd, watching the bartender make fun and interesting cocktails. I quickly noticed our bartender was more than that, she was one of Papi’s founders. I only knew that by her passion and her storytelling about the menu. She shared stories about her family, crafted beautiful cocktails tailored to each guest, and to top off the fun experience at the bar, the food was phenomenal. We cancelled our other reservation and snacked our way through Papi’s menu. If you choose just one app on a trip to Portland make it Papi’s beef empanadas. 10/10 experience from drink, to food, to service, to atmosphere!

The best cocktails outside of Oaxaca Mexico. 10 stars on the specialty cocktails. So well balanced and delicious! Love it love it love it.
