Award-winning Americana duo Honeysuckle will be making their way to One Longfellow Square this Friday, January 20th, with support from composer-performer Ben Cosgrove.
Boston-based Honeysuckle have brought their progressive folk across the country on festival circuits including Lollapalooza, Americanafest, the Newport Folk Festival and many more, picking up awards such as “Americana Artist of the Year” in 2019, and “Folk Artist of the Year” in 2018 at the Boston Music Awards. You can expect to hear favorites from all four of their full-length albums, including their newest, “Great Divide.”
Massachusetts-based Cosgrove is no stranger to Maine, having toured and performed with local big name acts such as The Ghost of Paul Revere and GoldenOak. Cosgrove is a master of the keys, whose music explores themes of landscape, place and environment. Don’t miss the the 8:00PM start time for your chance to see this local favorite.

Beginning at the start of this year, Andy’s Old Port Pub made a resolution to “bring back the blues to Portland” with their new Tuesday Night Blues Jam.
Whether you’re looking to jam along with your own instruments, or you’re just looking to listen to some great local talent, Andy’s will be the place for blues music (almost) every Tuesday from 7:00-11:00PM! They’ll be bringing in new local Blues bands every week for you to listen to – or join in with for your own jamming pleasure! They’ll even be offering special discounts for any musicians adding to the music.
Fans of Ronda Dale – she will continue her residency at Andy’s every second Tuesday of the month – but every other Tuesday stop in and jam to some good ol’ local Blues music!

Whether or not you’ve been able to make a ROTATIONS event at Flask Lounge yet, the series finale this Saturday, January 21st will be a dance party you won’t want to miss.
Beginning in June of last year, ROTATIONS is a monthly multi-genre dance party, featuring different American rave-based beats all through the night from DJs both near and far.
This Saturday, they’ve got a great line-up of three New England-based DJs and four separate genres to rave to throughout the night.
Kick off the evening at 8:30PM with tech house from Portland’s own Professor Trouble. Boston-based Your Friend Brett hits the stage with an energetic house music set at 9:30PM. Brunswick-based Kohaku amps it up at 10:45PM with Drum & Bass, and Professor Trouble takes us home once again with speed garage starting at 12AM.
There’s a $10 cover to get in to this all-night dance party, but you’ll only pay $5 if you’re in before 10PM. Celebrate the end of this amazing monthly series with some high-energy New England dance beats!
There’s so much live music happening around the city at any given time that we’d never have the time to list them all here.
