Andy’s has 16 local craft beer lines, Honeymaker mead and a full bar with several locally crafted spirits. A full-size pool table and dart boards are available in their back room.

Wandered in after being overwhelmed by crowds elsewhere. So glad we did! Sat at the bar, had a couple of beers and the chowder/lobster roll combo. Amazing food and great atmosphere, would highly recommend.

Great little dive bar! They have games you can play (scrabble, risk, uno, to name a few). It doesn’t have a waterfront view like some of the other bars nearby, but the live music was fantastic.

Found this place with Maine Foodie Tours and had to come back for more tacos. The fish and shrimp were so fresh and the pickled onions were a perfect add. Staff was friendly and music was an unexpected add on!

This is a seafood place but i had the best pizza i think ive ever had. Stealing the term from another review somewhere, it might be the closest form to crack i’ve had.My family ate here around 4-5ish, sat ourselves, and were greeted by a very very friendly bartender/staff member. The seating was alright, didn’t care for the darkness but that’s personal preference. The kindness of the staff was excellent. After ordering the food came out relatively quick and while my sister had sauce on her sandwich when she asked for it on the side, it was rectified ASAP and it was even offered to let her keep the first round of food (we didn’t, but it was nice they offered!). The bartender was truly sorry and asked if we needed anything else and checked to make sure the food was all alright. He even gave us good advice about a local lighthouse when we asked!Excellent experience. I’m from NC so I won’t be back any time soon only because I don’t live here, but if i visit portland again I’ll definitely stop by!

From one Andy to another, this bar is great. Big shouts to my guy Ryan for the excellent service. Definitely a must visit if you are visiting Portland and looking for a laid backBar that also has live music. Had a great time here and will certainly be back

We just popped in to the bar one night. Sat at the bar. And there was live music playing. It was good! Like a new Orleans type vibe of music. It was packed but still nice to have had seats avaliable at the bar.

Best clam chowder I have had in Maine so far. Amazing. Real New England Chowder. Lobster roll was, well, a lobster roll. It was just fine. Man who served us was very friendly and talkative. We sat at the bar. This place is a bar and looks like a dive from the street but if you want the best clam chowder it is here.

I wasn’t sure about the whole look from the front door. Never fear. It was wonderful. Truly wonderful food. Nice bar tender as we chose to eat lobster rolls and soup at the bar. Perfect and a good time had by all. Partner says. Best clam chowder in town. (Boston boy).

Cool spot to hang out. With the front door off the street and up some stairs makes getting to Andy's feel like a speakeasy. Food was outstanding. I actually ate here on three separate times. Lobster roll had a generous amount of lobster. The clam Chowder was everything you expect. Wings are very good. The Philly Cheesesteak was great as well. Service was good. On bartender had attitude but she was not putting up anyone's foolishness. One night had a band. Good hang out spot. I go back.

Rugged, soccer loving crowd type venue that didn’t disappoint. Bartender Steve was fabulous & friendly and one of the best no nonsense Bloody Mary’s ever.Avocado toast was very tasty. Public parking lot right next store. Recommended by a sports loving friend. Glad I stopped!

A great local place! I was in town for a work trip and went here with a group of seven people. The restaurant was about to accommodate by pushing some tables together. We sat up front and were certainly entertained by the live music. The food itself was great! I got the lobster roll which was absolutely perfect. My coworkers said good things about the chowder and potato skins. Andy's also had a great list of locally made beers. I definitely saved this place in my favorites so I can go again on my next trip to Portland!

We stopped for a quick lunch.I loved the place. Local, neighborhood pub with great service and good food.The place looks neat. The pulled pork sandwich was good and the fries were excellent. I would go there often if I was from there .

My husband and I stopped in for a quick bite and were 100% charmed with the service, the food and the atmosphere!We had a lobster roll and the clam chowder. Both were delicious but the lobster roll was fantastic! Warmed with drawn butter is the way to go. Huge chunks of succulent, melt-in-your-mouth lobster was the best lunch a girl could hope for!We had two delightful and very attentive servers! Ari and T were great! They were friendly, knowledgeable and by the time we left, after talking about our dogs, our beauty tricks and our significant others I felt like they were old friends and we were just catching up!All in all, it was a wonderful experience with wonderful food and I highly recommend trying it out and asking for Ari and T! If you do, tell them Kristen from Utah says "hello"!

Cool spot where the locals seem to hang out.They have various board games on site for you to enjoy.I tried the Lobster Bruschetta as I had never had it before. For the price, I would opt for the Lobster roll next time.My Husband had the Pulled Pork Poutine and it was delicious!Our side order of fries came out cold and our server was quick to replace with piping HOT ones.

Just had a wonderful dinner at the bar of Andy's; went in looking for clams, not on the menu tonight, but I had fish and chips that made me not even miss them.The haddock was cooked spot on, had a nice crispy breading, and was seasoned perfectly.Chips were my favorite style; skin-on, crispy enough to stand up to a bit (or a lot) of malt vinegar, and properly salted.Slaw was nice, not overly sauced and with a good balance of creamy and tangy.I was healthy and had a small house salad on the side that was perfect. Fresh veggies, good variety, and absolutely massive for a side salad.Prices are perfectly reasonable, even on the lower side for downtown.Everyone there could not have been nicer and the atmosphere is fun and classically casual.Thank you, Andy's, see you next time.
