Four-time Grammy Award winner Gary Clark Jr. is coming back to Portland to celebrate his latest album, JPEG RAW. This new album shows off Clark’s expanding creativity, blending different music styles into a unique and bold sound. Besides music, Clark recently acted in the movie “Elvis,” where he played blues legend Arthur “Big Boy” Crudup. The film was nominated for eight Academy Awards.

Midnight Breakfast, an indie-soul sextet based in Portland, Maine, originated from spontaneous late-night jam sessions among college friends in Orono. From these humble beginnings, the group evolved into a dynamic musical ensemble. Initially known for covering pop standards and funk tunes, they recorded their self-titled debut album during quarantine, releasing it in January 2021. In 2023, the band returned with their EP Bleeding Red, delving into the complexities of life and the search for clarity amidst uncertainty.
