Friday the 19th
Beer Pong on the Patio | Gritty McDuff’s | 10:00 PM – 12:00 AM
Grab your go-to partner and join Gritty McDuff’s for a beer pong tournament on our Wharf Street patio in the Old Port! Games will begin at 10PM, and the tournament will last until midnight. It’s a $10 buy-in for each 2-person team, and registration includes a free pitcher of beer for your team! Make sure to bring your A-Game – the first place team leaves with a $50 Gritty’s gift card!
Scenic Lighthouse Cruise | Fogg’s Water Taxi | 12:00 PM – 1:45 PM
Enjoy a cruise around scenic Casco Bay! Cool off on this cruise and see lighthouses, historic forts, islands, and maybe some seals! Beer and wine will be sold on board. Departure from 72 Commercial Street, Portland. Be sure to arrive 15 minutes early to ensure a timely departure! Tickets here.
Lake Street Dive: Side Streets | State Theatre | 7:00 PM Doors
Lake Street Dive Presents: Side Streets a special evening at The State Theatre ahead of *TWO* headline Lake Street Dive shows at Thompson’s Point on the 21st and 22nd! For this show, the members of Lake Street Dive will all perform music with their (out)side of Lake Street Dive projects – including Rachael & Vilray, Bridget Kearney joined by her frequent collaborators Benjamin Lazar Davis and Will Graefe, and solo sets from Akie Bermiss, Michael Calabrese, and touring guitarist James Cornelison. Totally Awesome Vegan Food Truck’s 4th Anniversary Party | Fork Food Lab | 5:00 PM – 10: 00 PM
Celebrating four totally awesome years of Totally Awesome Vegan Food Truck. Shutting down the parking lot at Fork Food Lab and getting comfy (robes welcome!), eat some good food and watch the film classic, The Big Lebowski. The TAVF truck will be open for service from 5-8pm, and then it’s time to start the movie and eat some plant-based dessert. They will be serving up dude-approved vegan White Russians, beer, and wine. Bring your own chair so you’re not out of your element. Come in your best Lebowski-inspired costume – the winner will receive a $100 Totally Awesome Vegan Food Truck gift card! Five of the Eyes & Junesevere | Portland House of Music | 8:00 PM Doors
Two bands, both from Portland, Maine! Five of the Eyes is a progressive rock band – imagine the love child of Jeff Buckley, The Mars Volta, and Incubus started making music. Then, somewhere along the way, it had an affair with Queens of the Stone Age. The offspring of that relationship then started making its own music, and it was under the name Five of the Eyes. Junesevere is an indie rock band that combines elements of jazz, synth pop, prog rock, and folk. Their music draws from themes of nature and existentialism, love, longing, and hopefulness. Joyswich Disc Public Park Disc Gold Pop-Up | Deering Oaks Park | 2:00 PM – 7:30 PM (Repeats Sunday 10:00 AM – 3:00 PM)
Joyswich Putting League is doing public disc golf pop-up courses, in collaboration with the Portland Parks Department. They will be at Deering Oaks Park with score cards, maps, signs, discs and smiles. They even have U-disc crankin’ for you to keep score online!
Mad Hatter Tea Party | Maine Craft Distilling | 12:00 PM – 10:00 PM
This is an unbirthday party! Come join the madness before summer’s over at Maine Craft Distilling’s Mad Hatter Tea Party. There will be costume contests, magic shows, caricature drawings, live music, the locally famous Eighty 8 Donut Food Truck, and an all-day specialty themed cocktail menu! Costume Contest (Round 1) will run 4 PM – 5PM, Round 2 runs 7 PM – 8 PM. The magic show by Bernie Blais starts at 4 PM and runs until 6 PM, while the caricature drawings runs 4:30 PM – 6:30 PM. Bumpin Uglies w/ Zeme Libre | Bayside Bowl | 8:00 PM – 11:30 PM
The American punk-reggae band, Bumpin Uglies, returns to Portland! The trajectory of Bumpin Uglies started over a decade ago, making music with friends, playing backyard parties and anywhere else they could get a gig. With the help of bassist Dave “Wolfie” Wolf, drummer TJ Haslett and keyboardist Ethan Lichtenberger, Bumpin Uglies are a band that have hoisted themselves up and forged their own path.The band’s two latest single releases, “Slow Burn” featuring Jacob Hemphill of SOJA and “Make It Through The Day”, have caught fire among fans, garnering hundreds of thousands of streams, multiple Spotify editorial playlist additions and most notably, making it onto Pandora’s Top Thumb Hundred in the first week. A Queer AF Parking Lot Takeover w/ Curbside Queens | Cocktail Mary | 6:00 PM – 8:30 PM

2022 Flotilla to Fight Cancer Benefit Concert | Casco Bay (Falmouth side of Cow Island) | 1:00 PM – 4:00 PM
Join Don Campbell for the annual event by Cow Island to tie up the summer. Created and hosted by Musician Don Campbell after his Mom and some of his friends were diagnosed with cancer, this floating benefit concert is free to attend and all donations will go to Maine Cancer Foundation. Happy Hour | The Danforth | 4:00 PM – 6:00 PM & 12:00 AM – 1:00 AM
The West End’s newest neighborhood bar and restaurant, The Danforth, is running Happy Hour daily (closed Tuesday) – including weekends! The menu features $10 classic cocktails, $3 Narragansetts (or a $5 Dressed ‘Gansett with an Old Bay rim or Campari sidecar), $10 wine pours, and $5 food specials (chocolate cake, anyone?). Join them for an early evening visit or for a late night toast.
Pancake Breakfast | Fifth Maine Museum | 8:00 AM – 11:00 AM
Last of the season! Join for pancakes, eggs, ham and more at the Fifth Maine Museum on Peaks Island. They will have a limited indoor seating and seating on their spectacular waterside porch. They will also have to go containers on hand for people who prefer to eat at home. Come and enjoy great food, great company, and a great view. This is a perfect way to start a Sunday in Maine. All proceeds benefit the museum!
