Friday the 10th
80s’ Prom | Amigos Mexican Restaurant + Bar | 8:00 PM – 12:00 AM
Come join Amigos for their 80’s Prom! This event benefits the Maine Cancer Foundation’s Tri for A Cure and will includes 80s’ music, dancing, fun and so much more. Don’t forget to wear your best 80’s attire as a Prom King + Queen will be crowned! Tickets are $15.00 at the door.
Hi- Fidelity Brewing Opening Day | Hi-Fidelty Brewing | 12:00 PM – 1:00 AM
Opening Day for Portland’s newest nanobrewery! Located in the East Bayside, Hi-Fidelty is a 3-barrel brewhouse that focuses on low ABV beers (everything under 6%) in an array of American and English styles. Their 30+ seat tasting room includes a small kitchen where they can create small plates and other tapas for guests to enjoy. They also have a rotating selection of cocktails, wine, cider, and other non-beer options such as their small coffee and tea program, as well as a selection of malt sodas made from the wort we make for our beer.

Internationally renown DJs Innox and Jimmy Tabz along with the guest DJs and event planning expertise of AURA bring you a Retro Nights! Come celebrate different genres of music (pop, Afrobeat, Hip Hop, Rumba, Kizomba and more) with the best DJs around. Tickets sold at the door!
Ironclad Eats 1st Birthday Celebration | Belleflower Brewing Co. | 1:00 PM – 7:00 PM (Repeats Saturday at noon)
Ironclad Eats has been stuffing your faces with tacos for a WHOLE DAMN YEAR! To celebrate they are throwing a 2-day celebration with their buds at Belleflower Brewing!! So what is going to be going on? Taco eating, beer drinking, hell raising, arm wrestling, ice creaming and more. There will be merch! There will be surprises! There will be some fresh new fits! And there will be a brewery full of people having a kick ass time. Friday’s event includes a special appearance in the evening by SLAP – Portland’s Premier Lady Arm Wrestling League. Saturday at 5:30PM until however late they can make it! Twist will joining along to serve up some sweet creamy goodness.

What could be better than starting your day with gentle yoga accompanied by Bach’s cello suites? Yogis and observers welcome, please bring your own yoga mat! This is a free event being run by Classical Uprising (donations are welcome) and will be taking place on Portland’s Eastern Promenade. Gather in the flat, grassy space between the baseball field and tennis courts. Rain date: Sunday June 12 at 9 a.m.
Shipyard Old Port Half Marathon | Old Port | 7:30 AM
The Shipyard Old Port Half Marathon & 5K is returning to Portland for another day of beautiful late-spring running! Run along or be the biggest sideline fan! The course includes spectacular views of lighthouses and Civil War-era forts along the waterfront of Casco Bay, and finishes through the heart of Portland’s historic Old Port district. All runners are rewarded with stylish race swag, two free beers from Shipyard Brewing Company (21+), and a commemorative finisher’s medal!
Sunday the 12th
Resurgam Music + Arts Festival | Thompson’s Point | 12:00 PM – 9:00 pM
Nearly three years after the Old Port Festival was scrapped, a new Portland festival focused on art and music is coming to Thompson’s Point! MAMM is launching a brand new inclusive community-minded music and arts festival that will showcase Portland’s creativity and youth. There will be music all day, food trucks, a maker’s mall with local businesses and artists, a children’s parade, and even a limited run Resurgam beer made by Bissell Brothers. The event will be FREE and open to the public!
Vinyasa Summer Series | Apres | 10:30 AM – 11:30 AM
Portland Yoga Collective is kicking off their Vinyasa Summer Series with classes at Apres! Enjoy a creative all-levels Vinyasa class set to a high energy playlist. If you haven’t been to their space yet you’ll love the industrial vibe, tall ceilings, open garage door and enough greenery to make you feel like you’re in the jungle. Custom Whale Sign Workshop | GooeyGump Designs | 3:00 PM – 5:30 PM
An afternoon of fun at Gooeygump Designs to start off the summer! Everyone will leave with a beautiful piece of custom whale art (fitting for a Maine summer) that they’ve personalized to their heart’s content. Attendees will get a blank hand-planked wood whale to paint and finish along with the hardware to make it wall-ready. The workshop leader will share tips and tricks on how to achieve layered, chippy and distressed looks using DIY Clay-based Furniture Paint. Tickets here.

Hula hoop with the pros! This is a family-friendly event with performances, workshops, and more. Includes a 60-minute Hoop Jam, 45-minute Hula Hoop 101 Workshop, and a Nevaeh Dance Circus Show (with a performance opportunity for all who participated in the workshop).
Char-aoke | Blackstones | 6:00 PM – 9:00 PM
Karaoke with with performances by Chartreuse on the hour, every hour. You can sign-up to sing through Chartreuse who will be located at the back of the house. TIPS are encouraged for Drag AND Karaoke Performances!
