Harvest on the Harbor started in 2007 to create awareness of Portland, Maine’s expanding restaurant and hospitality scene. Over the years, Portland, Maine (AKA Oyster Town!) was named The Foodiest Small Town in America and Restaurant City of the Year. We’ve stayed true to our mission of celebrating local- and independently-owned restaurants, the crave-worthy food and drink, and everything else that locals and travelers love about Portland, ME.
Harvest on the Harbor 2022 delivers a series of individual, ticketed events over three days. Discover each event and order tickets. Read more about Harvest on the Harbor. Thank You
The 2022 Maine Lobster Chef of the Year Competition
It’s back! The Maine Lobster Chef of the Year Competition returns for Harvest on the Harbor 2022 — Thursday, October 27.
Our past Lobster Chef competitions were seated meals, but not this year. Guests will graze from nine lobster stations and meet the chefs and staff from each competing restaurant. After everything’s been tasted, it is time to vote for the favorite. We’ll have a People’s Choice and Professionally Judged selections. We will announce the champions onsite.
Like all Harvest on the Harbor events, Maine Lobster Chef of the Year is 21+, and tickets are all-inclusive of food and drink. Guests will enjoy Zardetto Prosecco, Shipyard Brewing Company beers, and Kit NA Brewing Beers. The Maine Lobster Chef of the Year competition is made possible by Shucks Maine Lobster.
The competition and tasting will begin promptly at 6 pm and wrap up around 8 pm.
