Coming this June!!! The Woodfords Corner Farmers Market will be held Thursday afternoons from 3:00pm – 7:00pm from the first week in June through the first week in October. We are so excited for this and are excited that things are coming together! If you’d like to support the Market, donation link: https://woodfordscorner.org/farmers-market
We see a need for and interest in cultivating the neighborhood’s food system, and one of our endeavors is to develop and manage a small independent farmers market.
Surveys of our neighbors indicate that residents want a hyper-local farmers market and we believe there is enough density, traffic, and interest to support a local market. Over 9,000 people live within walking distance and over 20,000 cars pass through Woodfords Corner each day.
The market will be held Thursday afternoons from 3 pm – 7 pm from the first week in June through the first week in October (after Labor Day, market hours will be 2 – 7 pm). The market will be located in a large lot with enough space to maneuver trucks and allow for plenty of parking.
