It is OFFICIAL! We are set to reopen on Saturday April 1st.
It’s been a long winter of renovations. We can’t wait to show you, all of our hard work! So come join us to kick off this season right with drinks and dancing on April 1st!
Tickets are $25 for a night of performances by some of your favorite local artists, live Jazz Era music by The Gatz Catz ensemble, dancing, photo opps, and other Roaring Twenties amusements. A cash bar featuring signature cocktails and mocktails, as well as select beers and wines, will also be on site.
A silent auction will feature an eclectic and exciting array of products, services, and one-of-a-kind works of art–with all proceeds supporting the upcoming 11th PortFringe Festival in June 2023. Gatsby-inspired attire is encouraged!
Since we are returning to in-person events, in order to ensure the safety and participation of as many members of our community as we can, masks will be required for all patrons. Additionally, air filtration will be running well before and during the event. The venue is wheelchair accessible and the restrooms are ADA compliant. If you have any barriers to attending POP-UP Gatsby, please reach out to us at portfringe@gmail.com.
What is PortFringe POP-UP? Our annual fundraising event is an exhilarating, one-of-a-kind, community experience in which local performance artists, chosen by random lottery, are each assigned one chapter of a classic work and tasked with presenting it in just 5 minutes. Planned and rehearsed with no coordination with the other artists, this year’s Great Gatsby scenes will be performed in order, for the first (and only!) time on April 1.

Swingin’ Wednesdays is an extension of the popular outdoor series held in Tommy’s Park this summer. Check out this stellar review in the Portland Press Herald.
