I believe that this is the best hotel in Portland, Maine. When you walk into the downstairs lobby you will immediately notice that this hotel is special. The rooms are perfect, the restaurants are wonderful, and the staff is outstanding. Way to go Hilton Canopy!

Solid stay. Business for me. New property past 3 yrs old but feels newer. Live moss grows on wall in lobby. Breakfast simple but high level. Gym is right size and well equipped. Weed shop one block away and best restaurants only a 5 min walk. (Many need reservations they are so popular). Such a great food scene in Portland.

Amazing experience at this Canopy Hilton location. We checked in around 1am after a long evening of travel and were greeted with a smile by valet and the front desk. The desk helped us move our room which we accidentally selected by the elevators (especially helpful since we wanted to sleep in a bit). Room was large and clean and modern but not cold feeling. Great linens, comfy bed, and the robes were a bonus! Enjoyed the nespresso in the morning and the rain shower head. Super clean bathroom and great shelves/hooks for all of our toiletries. Great location for walking to nearby coffee shops and the lobby was inviting and well appointed. We didn’t have time to try the restaurant, but it looked fun! We would happily stay here again when in Portland!

Everything is perfect at the Canopy! The staff really adds to the experience! Maddie at check-in went above and beyond in addition to being such a pleasure, she remembered our names when we saw her the following day and asked if we needed anything! Also, Jory at the bar was amazing...loved his energy!

Really beautiful hotel built in a renovated mill. The beds were very comfortable and the rooms are quiet. I slept like a rock. In addition, the staff here is excellent. They really seemed to care about doing a great job. Definitely will stay again.

Great hotel! Really nice and all the hotel staff were extremely nice and always professional! Enjoyed a great meal downstairs restaurant and the bartender was rocking with a full house but you wouldn’t tell… he was on top of everything!Valets are also really fast and warm your car up, don’t mess with your seats, etc- top notch all around! I will definitely stay here again and recommend it to colleagues

5 stars isn't enough. Very trendy, modern & spotless hotel.The staff was super helpful and offered us some suggestions on dining and shopping and gave us a site map of the downtown Portland area. We did have an issue with payment using our travel points but that was quickly resolved and they were more concerned with us enjoying our stay then payment which speaks volumes regarding their level of customer service.

As someone that’s travelled all over the world, this was one of the best hotels I’ve stayed at. The guy at the front desk at check-in was extremely friendly and helpful. Rooms are outstandingly nice. Had an epic meal at Salt Yard. The following morning they helped arrange a taxi to the airport for me amid a snow storm. Overall, a really awesome experience. I’d recommend this hotel to anyone!

Amazingly tasteful, luxurious but not over-the-top. Was able to stay for $140 using online booking, so available to the middle class. In the image below I'm showing the little lights that they had embedded in the floor. A beautiful bathroom. The staff are friendly, very alert. Includes a 60 inch or larger TV and a wonderful espresso coffee maker.Right across the street from Becky's diner.
