This is an enjoyable hotel in a great location in Portland, right on Commercial street and walking distance to everything. We had the superior King room which was really spacious and extremely well upgraded with beautiful bed, smart TV, big closet and a beautiful new bathroom. The AC worked well and room was really quiet for sleeping. All the staff at the hotel were super friendly and helpful with all of our requests. We used the free rental bikes several times during the trip, and they were generally available. We did not use hotel parking, as street parking is free on the other side of Commercial, and the meters only run until 6pm on weekdays, so you can park overnight for free until 9am. The gym was one of the best hotel gyms I’ve ever encountered with brand new equipment and bottled water provided. We tried the Luna rooftop bar for a drink, and while it has great views, the cocktails and food are not great. Go for a drink, views and ambiance, but don’t expect a fine cocktail experience. The only other reason I didn’t rate this hotel at 5 stars is there wasn’t any “wow factor” in the common areas, such as a deck, or pool. Everything is nice and clean and pleasant, but there aren’t a ton of amenities. Overall I’d still highly recommend this hotel for a stay in Portland.
