Located in the heart of the Arts District, Nosh Kitchen Bar is most known for its larger than life burgers and sandwiches – so big in fact, they were once featured on the popular show Man vs. Food.

If the sandwiches didn’t lure you in, their dusted bacon fries might be just what you need to make them your new local watering hole. Nosh’s menu features items suitable for the most meaty of carnivores to those who prefer a bit more plant in their main course. Nosh hosts a full bar featuring tasty cocktails and local draft beers, with flat-screen TVs that display anything from the big game to old-school WWF wrestling videos.

The space itself is open, yet cozy and makes a great location for both a first date or a bachelor party. Start your day with lunch beginning at noon, or keep the party going with late night menu until 12pm.

Food was 4/5 (recommend the Shrimp Po’ Boy and Congress St Salad - skirt steak was so so), environment was 3.5/5 (very dim and kind of loud music level), and service was 4.5/5 (came in at 9:58 not knowing kitchen closed at 10 (establishment open until 11) and the (possibly owner?) host was insistent that we sit and eat and not to worry about it and that the kitchen and kitchen staff was there for customers. It was not forced and seemed sincere so even though I felt a little bad we sat and ate and glad we did!

Cute little place. Had the sweet & spicy bacon burger. So good! The honey was perfect on this! Their fries are also great! We got just the salt & pepper fries but there are a couple other options as well. Great, fast service as well!

Nosh was pretty good! Their drinks were a little pricey for an average cocktail. Their service was friendly and pretty quick. We got the Mozzarella Sticks and they were absolutely delicious! The most melty and gooey Mozz Sticks ever— clearly house-made from scratch. The actual restaurant is small, so you may experience wait times and they don’t take reservations. I don’t think it would be a good place for large parties. Parking is street parking only. I would recommend Nosh for a casual bite to eat and apps.

NOSH is always our stop when in Portland! Wonderful atmosphere, great beer and cocktail selection and an amazing menu. You'll have to leave the calorie counting at the door but worth it!

Nice chill spot with good service..Surprisingly ALL burgers have pork which is unfortunate since I don't eat pork.. I got the R-Bees sandwich which was good but I wouldn't say Amazing... fries had vinegar (what I ordered) and very good. Overall a bit pricey but a good spot. I even got to sit back and watch the end of a basketball game. #warriors
