Nice place. My boyfriend and I were traveling and we decided to have lunch at this place. It was crowded but I was surprised that we were sited so fast, we waited only 20 minutes. They have an interesting system, you need to place an order and get your order number after that you are going back to the host, and she places you puts you on the waiting list. We ordered two lobsters and they were great. This place is also dog friendly, if you decide to come with your dog they will let you do that. We were with our dog and had no issues. They have a real band playing, maybe they play only on Sundays because were there on Sunday but it was nice.

Great spot. I was on a tight budget and taking a trip to Maine for my daughters birthday. One of the biggest things I was looking forward to was an order of steamers. I'm from the Northeast originally but living in Texas and haven't been able to get my hands on any in years. I'm not sure if the mix-up was on me or not, but when I ordered the clams they came out fried when I was hoping for steamed. I wasn't going to be able to afford to reorder them correctly if that's what it came to. But the manager came over and took care of it no problem. I got my steamers on the water and they were delicious.Thank you for helping make our little vacation that much better!

Prices are pretty reasonable considering this is the water front. We caught some lobster on the lucky catch lobstering and they cooked it for us for a small fee. The time we went was pretty perfect and beat the rush coming in. Everyone enjoyed their food. I tried the blue berry beer which was very light. The place lacked service, you find your own table and get your own water type of deal.

If you are looking for incredible, traditional, seaside lobster rolls, go no further! We both had this as our intro to Portland lobster, and there was so much meat packed into one little bun! The lobster was fresh and packed with flavor! Make sure you sit on the water, as it just adds to the wonderful experience. We will be back!

Friendly people greeted the 3 of us and instructed us to order at the counter, pay, then take our given number to a table of our choice on their wharf. Told our order would be brought to us. Our lobster rolls and fries were great! A staff member cleared the picnic table when we were done. So nice to dine while gazing at the water and boats. Didn't need to wait to order or get seated. Did have to wait to use the rest room. Will certainly return!

I love the layout of this restaurant and ordering process. Makes it ideal for large groups. Right on the water and my lobster dinner was great. Nice live music where you can actually talk. I'd go back in a second.

A powerhouse vocalist whose incredible stage presence and vocal maturity rank with the best, Elise Testone is the perfect combination of soul, rock, attitude and restraint. Equally as impressive and at ease belting James Brown style vocals over a relentless funk groove as she is resting her voice gently over a ballad, Testone’s range of influences and vocal capacity know few limits. Her first original album, In This Life, released in 2014, received rave reviews, celebrating her ability to “wail the blues, rock like a bitch and purr sexily” (Goldmine Magazine). Growing up in New Jersey with a father who collected juke boxes, Testone knew she was a singer even as a young girl. Exposed to music that ranged from Motown and the Beatles to Queen and, later, Led Zeppelin and Erykah Badu, she began studying privately at the age of 5, excelling and performing publicly at local coffeehouses through her teens. Eventually graduating from Coastal Carolina University with a Vocal Performance degree, Testone came of age as a professional performer and private educator in Charleston, SC, becoming one of the most seasoned and well respected musicians in town. At the age of 27 she was approached by a scout from television reality show American Idol and decided to use the opportunity (urged on especially by her students) as a stepping stone to propel her career, ultimately becoming top six finalist on the hit show in 2012.

Maine Donut Tour @ Portland Old Port
Sep 1 @ 9:30 am – 10:45 am
Maine Donut Tour @ Portland Old Port | Portland | Maine | United States

Beginning in the heart of Portland’s Historic Old Port, we will first head down to the working waterfront and the acclaimed The Holy Donut, skipping the likely line out the door, to indulge along the storied Long Wharf. Meandering back along the iconic cobblestone streets of our donut trail, we’ll make way to the granite built Customs House, imagining a thriving 1800s port of tall ships unloading goods. Onward, past the armory, now a historic gem of a hotel, in search of Captain Mowatt’s remnant canon balls that originally burned down the city via harbor canon fire in 1775. Just up around the corner, is our second stop, Eighty 8 Donuts, once a food truck busting at the welds, now Portland’s newest fried dough all-stars are known for their delectable bite-sized treats all over the state. There’s no better place to appreciate these culinary delights than right along the granite of City Hall! Just beware, this building has burned down three times, along with much of the rest of the city. Continuing on to take in more of the rich history of the Downtown peninsula – our oldest church building, a congregation dating back to 1674, and the picturesque Monument Square at City Center. Then, our final donut stop of the tour- HiFi Donuts, staying true to old world styling while glamorous in new world foodie goodness. By this point, you should be dumbfounded by just how all three of these world class bakeries are within our short storied walk of one another, and agree – this is the sweetest walk there ever was! Only a short jaunt remaining from here, but much to take in of our lobstering history and charming architecture. We couldn’t be more excited to celebrate these donut shops and our city with you. See you soon!
