The Friendly Toast’s first Maine location in Portland, and their 10th location in New England, will be open to the public starting today, October 3rd, 2022.
The Friendly Toast is an all-day brunch and bar spot located in the Old Port at the former Sebago Brewing Co. The restaurant boasts a full bar and eclectic decor featuring vintage artwork and classic throwbacks to the mid-century era and other nostalgic elements. The 7,000 square foot restaurant can accomodate 200 guests in the dining and bar areas as well as 40 guests on the patio.There is also a private dining room that seats up to 15 people.
According to the The Friendly Toast team, the menu features over 70+ items that includes their signature favorites like the Avocado Toast, Chicken Cordon Bleu Benedict, and the Highway Strawberry, as well as rotating specials that feature seasonal flavors and locally sourced ingredients such as Slopeside Maple Syrup from Vermont, to New Hampshire based North Country Smokehouse. Over at the bar, guests can expect funky cocktail creations using a wide variety of ingredients and flavors such as infused vodkas, house-made bloody Mary mix, and the Dreamsicle cocktail. There are also the popular cocktail flights to match the popular Mimosa and Bloody Mary Flights.
In addition to the distinct menu and cocktails, The Friendly Toast is will be giving back to the Portland and surrounding communities by participating in monthly charity specials, donations, and beyond with local organizations such as Center for Grieving Children, and Trans Youth Equality Foundation.
The Friendly Toast has multiple locations across New England including Back Bay in Boston; Chestnut Hill and Burlington Mall in MA, Burlington, VT; and Portsmouth, NH. For the full list of locations head to their website here.
