MID-WEEK MUSIC

Big Head Todd and the Monsters have a long history of playing together that spans all the way back to 1982, and totals over 3,500 performances, and they’ll add one more tick to that tally this Thursday, February 9th at the State Theatre.
They’ve had a long journey in the forty years since, selling out countless ampitheatres and even having their music beamed into the far reaches of outer space. Luckily, you won’t have to go that far to hear them this Thursday.
Fans of the band have had a lot to pay attention to over the years, including favorites like Strategem and Beautiful World, blending blues, folk, rock and country in a unique way that is hard to find elsewhere. The Colorado-locals have aided the Denver Broncos in Super Bowl celebrations, and they’ve rocked the legendary venue Red Rocks over 32 times.
