Munjoy Hill is about to get even tastier with the arrival of Low Key, courtesy of the esteemed Jing Yan team. - As announced last week, Prentice Hospitality Group (Twelve, Evo Kitchen + Bar, and Chebeague Island Inn) are eagerly preparing to unveil their newest venture, ‘Douro,’ scheduled to open its doors in the summer of 2024. Douro will offer a relaxed, all-day dining experience featuring European-inspired seafood paired with an extensive selection of wines by the glass, classic cocktails, and inviting non-alcoholic options.
- Owners of Jing Yan will be opening a second location, Low Key, in the former Blue Spoon location at 89 Congress Street on Munjoy Hill. What will be a casual neighborhood spot with classic cocktails, beer, natural wine, bar snacks and appetizers, Low Key will also be adding an ice cream takeout window in the future.
- Cherished Pub opened on Sunday at 64 Auburn Street in North Deering. Open for breakfast starting at 7:30am until 1pm, the Bayou Kitchen 2 menu includes recipes from the Woodfords Corner/Forest Avenue restaurant. Cajun classics as well as omelets, pancakes, hash, French Toast, huevos rancheros, and other breakfast staples. They reopen at 2pm for lunch and dinner.
