News Update
Anything from recent closings, openings, and headliners:
- Lil Chippy will be opening at 52 Washington Avenue, taking over the former Radici space. The menu will feature fish & chips, small seafood-based plates, and sandwiches, complemented by a curated selection of beer and wine perfectly paired with their dishes. Learn more.
- Vina Ann’s, founded by best friends Hannah Maltby and Liz Tavares, has recently leased the 77-square-foot, city-owned waterfront gazebo at 20 Commercial Street. They will offer a delightful selection of sandwiches, salads, and their renowned sweets. Learn more.
- Angoor Wine Bar is set to open Wednesday, May 29th 3pm – 9pm. Portland’s first self-pour wine bar will be opening at 100 Fore Street.
- Casco Bay Islands have reawakened for the summer season! Peak’s Island’s Baba’s Peaks Island, Il Leone, Island Lobster Co., and Inn on Peaks are all reopen for the season. Crown Jewel has reopened on Great Diamond Island, while Diamond’s Edge Restaurant will reopen Thursday, May 30th. Dining at Chebeague Island Inn will begin Friday, May 31st.

New Additions
- Allagash Brewing Co. will be hosting The Cheese Shop of Portland for the next installment of their Sip & Learn Series on Thursday, May 30th. Join for a cheese class with beer pairings.
- Novel, Portland’s book and cocktail bar, is hosting a Silent Book Club on Thursday, May 3oth.

- Summer Sunsets LIVE at Thompson’s Point returns for another season on Thursday, June 20th. Open to all, Summer Sunsets LIVE brings together the best of Portland’s live music, award winning food trucks, artisan cocktails and finely crafted brews, with spirits provided by local partners.
