Another addition to the growing list of pandemic-related closures, Lio officially announced on 9/26 that they will be permanently closing their doors. As described on their website,
“We were unable to weather the pandemic without some rent relief, and with the decreasing temperatures and increasing Covid cases, can find no viable way forward.”
Cecile and Cara Stadler, Lio
Lio will be offering bottles of their dine-in wine at 50% off the full price, as well as an additional 10-20% off volume purchases if you spend $100 or more. The entire wine selection is online on their website and pickup will begin on 10/2 and run through to 10/10.
Because they are a restaurant and cannot sell alcohol to you without food, every purchase of a bottle of wine will include a mandatory purchase of Pao de Queijo (Brazilian cheese puffs). This is a great way to support Lio in their final days as they transition into permanent closure.
