Join Maine’s celebration of world premiere scripts by local playwrights, now in its 22nd season! The 2024 Maine Playwrights Festival features world premiere performances of 6 new short plays by Maine writers.
The festival is centered on developing and honing short plays; from submission through staged readings, rewrites, and culminating in performances at the Studio Theater at Portland Stage (25 Forest Avenue) in Portland.
