Exchange Street has welcomed a new addition: Off Track Pizza. This eatery from the Miranda Group promises tasty slices, and a vibrant atmosphere. On Middle Street, Mr. Tuna sets up in a brand-new space. Meanwhile, Bao Bao Dumpling House has relocated to Brunswick after closing its Portland location back in February. Finally, stay tuned for the opening dates of Low Stakes Lodge, Angoor Wine Bar, the reopening of J’s Oyster, and more!
News Update
Anything from recent closings, openings, and headliners:
- Off Track Pizza has opened at 15 Exchange Street. They’ll be serving pizza by the slice, or by the whole pie. Focaccia sandwiches, will also be available, on bread that is baked in house, daily. They’ll also have a number of house sauces including ranch and hot honey. Their beverage program features a line of house-bottled cocktails. The space, previously occupied by Lupita’s features two floors, with an upstairs dining room, with the capacity for roughly 50 people. Off Track is the latest venture of owners Mitchell Ryan and Mark Hubbard, and business partner Josh Miranda. In the future, Off Track hopes to be open late night for takeout. For a first look.
- Mr. Tuna Has moved from their location in the Public Market to a new space at 83 Middle Street. This new space features bar seating, as well as several tables. They will be open Friday and Saturday 11am-9pm, and Sunday-Tuesday and Thursday 11am-8pm. Chef Jordan Rubin got his start in 2017 with a sushi cart, and has now grown Mr. Tuna to a restaurant and multiple food trucks. - Magissa had their soft opening May 20th, and will open to the public this week. Magissa is a greek restaurant located on Anderson street, brought to you by the owners of Greeks of Peaks.
- Angoor Wine Bar will have their soft opening on May 24th, for friends and family. Stay tuned for opening day and hours of operation.
- As seen on their social media, J’s Oyster is set to reopen under the same ownership in the near future. Stay tuned for opening dates and more information.
- Maine Craft Distilling brought back their summer hours, and now open at noon from Tues-Sat and 10am on Sundays.
- Bao Bao Dumpling House Closed it’s doors at their spot on Spring Street in Portland, back in February. They have since reopened in a new location, in Brunswick. You can find them at 22 Pleasant Street, Brunswick, from Tuesday-Sunday 4:30-9pm.

New Additions
- Angoor Wine bar will be participating in their first ever wine week! Join them on June 14th for wine and good fun.
- Outdoor dining weather is back, and patios are popping up left and right. Check out our Outdoor Dining blog to stay up to date on patios, decks, rooftops, and more.
- DiMillo’s on a Roll food truck opened May 20th, down on the waterfront. This is their 4th year of their food truck, and plan to be out and about all summer.
- Coastal Creamery has announced their new “coastal cruiser”, so you can can expect to see their ice cream truck popping up around town.

- The 2nd annual Feel Good Funk Fest is set for Thursday, May 30th – Saturday, June 1st. 3 days of live music, food and art. Learn more.
- Enjoy happy hour at The Clam Bar every Monday – Friday 3pm until 6pm. Includes deals on food, $6 craft beer and $6 Painkillers.
- Every Monday, you can enjoy Steak Frites + House Martinis for $25 at Henry’s Public House.
- Other Side Diner is hosting a pop-up Greek BBQ Night on Friday, May 24th as part of their pop-up dinner series. Taking limited reservations, walk ins welcome.
