Nestled in the heart of the historic Old Port district, this American Tavern doesn’t just serve food—it captures the spirit of Portland. Located at 375 Fore Street, we’re inspired by the iconic local poet, Henry Wadsworth Longfellow. Kick off your experience with our classic pub fare paired with local Maine beers. Excellent food and cocktails! Not your average American food restaurant. Small menu, but everything we ate was incredible! The inside of the restaurant was intimate and well decorated. Close to great bars and activities.Favorite items that we ordered were the snap pea cocktail, devils on horseback, and beet carpaccio.I’d highly suggest visiting here while in Portland!

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Henry's Public House and I must say, it was an exceptional experience from start to finish. From the moment I walked in, the warm and inviting atmosphere made me feel right at home.The service was top-notch, with attentive and friendly staff who went above and beyond to ensure that my dining experience was nothing short of perfect. They were knowledgeable about the menu and offered great recommendations, making it easy for me to choose from their wide selection of delicious dishes.The drink menu was equally impressive, with an extensive selection of craft beers, wines, and cocktails. The bartenders were skilled and creative, crafting unique and delicious drinks that perfectly complemented the meal.Overall, Henry's Public House exceeded my expectations in every way. The combination of excellent service, delectable food, and inviting ambiance makes it a standout dining destination. I highly recommend Henry's Public House to anyone looking for a memorable experience. It truly deserves every bit of its five-star rating.
